DMR Pedal - Vault Mag SL - Black

The DMR Vault Pedal has consistently been voted the Number One Platform Pedal in mountain biking by the editorial staff of VitalMTB, year after year. It has outperformed countless new pedals from brands worldwide, all competing for the title of Best MTB Pedal on the market. In our quest for product evolution the next logical step was to make a magnesium version.

Extracted from water destined for dirt.
The new Vault Mag MTB pedal is here, born from our quest for production methods that are more environmentally friendly and less wasteful. Thanks to the unique use of pressure die-casting technology, the Vault Magnesium achieves these goals. Best of all, it is now available at a more obtainable price. When performance is paramount, the Vault Mag flat pedal delivers at just 318g.

Six benefits of the magnesium casting process:

1. Most of the magnesium used is extracted from seawater.

2. Magnesium uses less energy to process the material than aluminium (bauxite).

3. Casting magnesium uses less energy to make the finished product (than CNC aluminium).

4. The casting process wastes very little material.

5. Any waste material is recycled on site (zero waste).

6. Magnesium is non-toxic and is very safe for manufacture and use.

So, what sets the DMR Vault apart as the best pedal available?
The DMR Vault is a tunable MTB flat pedal designed specifically for riders seeking a larger platform. Versatile enough to excel on trails, all-mountain routes, enduro, and downhill setups, the DMR Vault offers exceptional stability and grip, even on the roughest terrain. Its slimline, concave platform combined with DMR Traction pedal pins ensures the best grip among all platform pedals. The design of the DMR Vault pedal was developed with input and testing from Brendan Fairclough back in 2010, and it has proven itself repeatedly by winning multiple group tests and receiving perfect 5/5 reviews.

As Shred Magazine concluded, These are the ultimate, no compromise flat pedal. Beautifully finished. Light. Super smooth bearing action and a thin profile that we couldn't get to hit the deck even on low slung XC bikes.

Once you've ridden the DMR Vaults, you won't want to go back.

From the trails, for the trails.
