Level 1 Service
Recommended every 3 to 6 months, depending on usage. A safety check and preventative maintenance service covering brake and gear adjustments.
- Brakes and gears: checked for wear and adjusted.
- Chain: lubricated.
- Frame and forks: visually inspected.
- Tyres: checked for wear and inflated to the correct pressure.
- Wheels: hubs and rims checked for damage and wear.
- Bottom bracket: checked for free movement and wear.
Level 2 Service
Popular with commuters. Recommended every 6 to 9 months, depending on usage. Includes the Level 1 Service, plus:
- Headset: removed, degreased where applicable, cleaned, refitted and checked for free movement.
- Hubs: front and rear hubs inspected for wear and play, with adjustment where necessary.
- Cleaning: deeper bike cleaning and drivetrain degreasing, including the chainset, cassette, chain and front and rear derailleurs.
