It turned out that many mechanics used a sharpened spoke to pierce the liner of the outercasing after cutting it.Innovation! As there was no professional solution on the market, we started making some sketches of what a cable pricker should look like. We even added an extra function. After cutting, the outercasing will have been flattened, which makes it difficult to assemble the ferrule. In our design the outercasing will be returned to its original shape, so we solve two problems simultaneously.An essential tool! Outercasing for bicycles are available in two dimensions, 4.1mm and 4.9mm. We designed the cable pricker with two entries for both dimensions. The Elvedes cable pricker is essential in each workshop, because it's quick, easy and effective.
