The upper is crafted from G.active airflow microfiber, chosen for its high breathability, and paired with GORE-TEX® Duratherm® membrane for exceptional waterproofing and thermal insulation. This combination ensures your feet stay warm, dry, and comfortable in the harshest winter conditions.

Anti-abrasion reinforcements are placed at the toe and side areas to increase durability. An elasticated, water-repellent collar with an adjustable strap closure delivers maximum insulation, while a rear pull loop allows for easy entry. Reflective inserts enhance visibility and rider safety in low-light environments.

The closure system uses the BOA® Fit System with the IP-1 dial, enabling a micro-adjustable, precise fit with quick, consistent tightening across the entire frontal area—free from pressure points.

A thermo-reflective aluminium midsole layer, positioned between the sole and upper, creates an effective barrier against the cold, helping retain warmth and repel external chill. Inside, the anatomical footbed supports the tarsal area, enhancing comfort, stability, and pedalling efficiency.

The GAERNE EPS CARBON POWER SOLE 8.0 is constructed from nylon reinforced with carbon, providing increased rigidity while maintaining a low weight. The thin profile supports direct power transfer without energy loss, and the plantar arch shape promotes stability.

Air vents and internal airflow channels ensure superior ventilation. Non-slip rubber inserts at the front and a replaceable PU insert at the rear provide secure walking off the bike.
