The 7i rim features Innegra added to the carbon layup, significantly enhancing strength and compliance, whilst reducing weight. With the right hubs and spokes, the 7i rim is ready to hit hard!Redefining Carbon Wheels. Ride without fear - thanks to the addition of TeXtreme® Innegra into the layup of our rims, we've developed a rim that has 75% higher impact resistance than standard carbon rims of the same profile. The 7i rims are significantly more resistant to wear and tear and less prone to catastrophic failure.Our Innegra™ equipped 7i rims also have 50% more vertical compliance than standard carbon rim. As a result they exhibit high energy absorption and superior vibration damping, with none of harsh stiffness associated with carbon. We strongly recommend the use of a tyre insert (preferably the lightweight Tyre Invader from Effetto Mariposa) when using our carbon rims. These can greatly reduce the impact to the rim, and allow you to roll out of the trail in the event of a flat tyre, without damaging the rim.Please Note: These Rims are front and rear specific. Due to different spoke bracing angles of front and rear wheels, the drilling angle differs between front and rear rims. If buying a set please order one Front and one Rear Rim.
