DMR - ODUB BAR 35 - 35 mm Rise - Vapour Silver

RATED NO.1 BY PINKBIKE & DOWNHILL CERTIFIED BY EFBE TRI-TEST

Now available in a unique vapour blast finish and three new colours, our new DMR Odub bars are the best MTB bars available. Don't just take our word for it. Pinkbike recently tested 31 different handlebars and here's their conclusion: "If you subscribe to the widely accepted theory that compliance buys you comfort, then you should buy the most compliant handlebar that fits the intended purpose. To that end, of the 31 handlebars we have measured so far, the 31.8 mm DMR O'Dub bar with a 50mm rise should be the most comfortable bar of the lot." DMR Odub VB Handlebars are not just rider tested, but also lab tested to the highest possible standards 65s, 50s, and 35mm rise Odub VB bars all passed the highest-level GR-Gravity and DH Bike Tests with flying colours. So how does that work? The EFBE Lab has developed a series of strength and fatigue tests based on real-world data collection from hours of hard bike riding. The EFBE equipment then runs a series of tests on the same part, including overload tests. These lab-tests are designed to be a better, more relevant test for the parts intended use, which is over and above the standard EN bicycle safety tests. Odub VB Bars: ridden, tested and certified for DH and Gravity by The EFBE Test Lab.

Designed by Olly Wilkins "Ive been behind DMR bars for over 20 years and couldnt be more stoked to have the chance to design and create my own signature handlebars. "The Odub bar is the result of 20 years of development and feedback with DMR, as well as product design over the last decade, which is a pretty crazy thought! "I like riding everything, from dirt jumps to XC, and I wanted a bar shape which would feel familiar across all my bikes the 5 upsweep / 8 back bend is what I found to be perfect after trying all kinds of different shapes." Olly Wilkins, DMR Pro Rider

Lets talk options "The three rise options cover everything I need. The new high rise 65mm works perfect on my dirt jump bike, the 50mm rise on my everyday 150mm trail bike, and the 35mm I use on my EMTB. "I use the 35mm clamp bar, and also wanted to offer 31.8mm so people can use them on their existing stems. Obviously this is all down to personal preference, but those are what I run right now. I run mine at various widths across my bike shed but the bars come in 780mm and 800mm widths on the 31.8 and 35 respectively. My dirt jump bike gets cut down to 750mm and all the others at 770mm. "I dont like waste so the bars come with no packaging and the barcode is on the product itself." Olly Wilkins

Aluminium wins. Every time. "The choice to go 7050 over carbon-fibre was easy for me. Carbon seems a dangerous option when youre clamping brakes, dropper levers and gear shifters onto it not to mention throwing your bike in the back of a van. Handlebars are not a product I want to worry about failing and the Odub Bar fits that. "We used spiral butting on the bar to increase strength and durability without adding weight. This means the bars are stronger and lighter than anything weve previously produced. After all this time I didnt wanna put my name to anything that I didnt think was perfect. These bars are the S**T!" Olly Wilkins
