The G.WINTER MTB GORE-TEX is built for mountain biking in the harshest winter conditions. Combining rugged construction with advanced insulation and weather protection, this shoe is designed for riders who don’t stop when the temperature drops.

The upper combines G.Active Airflow microfiber with a GORE-TEX® Duratherm® membrane, offering waterproof protection, breathability, and thermal insulation. This pairing ensures your feet stay warm and dry, even in freezing, wet environments.

An elasticated, water-repellent collar with adjustable closure provides a secure seal against the elements. A rear pull loop allows for easy entry, while reflective inserts increase visibility in low-light conditions. Anti-abrasion reinforcements at the toe and side enhance durability across rugged terrain.

Between the upper and outsole, a thermo-reflective aluminium layer acts as a barrier, retaining heat and blocking external cold. This high-insulation midsole keeps feet protected from icy conditions beneath the shoe.

The closure system features the BOA® Fit System with the IP-1 dial, offering quick, micro-adjustable tightening across the full frontal area. The system provides a secure fit without pressure points and allows fast adjustments mid-ride.

The heel is anatomical and anti-slip, offering improved foot stability and control for efficient power transfer in technical conditions.

The anatomical insole provides targeted support in the tarsal area, improving comfort and pedalling efficiency during extended winter rides.

Underfoot, the MTB 2Density Sole is purpose-built for off-road use. Constructed from a nylon and fibreglass blend, it offers the perfect balance of lightweight stiffness and durability. The tread delivers maximum grip and stability across varied terrain, while two removable front studs improve traction in mud and snow.

Direct from the Research and Development Team at Gaerne comes the new “MTB 2DENSITY SOLE”. A new sole designed specifically for Mountain Bike use. The structure of the sole combines both nylon and fiberglass materials, making it durable, lightweight and thin. The tread has been designed to ensure maximum grip/stability and has an excellent resistance to varying types of terrain. Two removable front studs give this shoe improved traction in variable and muddy terrains. Real weight of the shoes: 442 g (US 9)

Upper
Combines the high breathability G.active airflow microfibre to the Gore-Tex® Duratherm® membrane. This combination offers breathability, impermeability, thermal insulation even in the most intense cold conditions. Elasticized and water repellant collar with adjustable closure for maximum insulation, rear loop for easy fit and reflex inserts to increase safety in conditions of reduced visibility. Midsole
Highly insulating with the addition of thermo reflective aluminum, is placed between the sole and the upper and creates a thermal barrier, allowing the foot to remain warm and dry. Heel: Anti-slip and anatomical Closure System: BOA Fit System with the IP-1 dial platform for a fast, effortless, precision fit and a uniform closure over the entire frontal area of the shoe.

Anatomic with support in the tarsal area to ensure comfort and efficiency in pedaling.

Technologies
The BOA Fit System The BOA L6 dial platform consist of a micro-adjustable dial, super-strong lightweight laces and low friction lace guides. The combinations of these elements allows the rider to obtain uniform closure without any pressure points. The absence of velcro straps allows for greater air circulation in the front part of the shoe.
